The Internationally renowned cultural troupe KEPEMCHIM KIRNNAM from Quepem Goa, will be felicitating Sahitya Academy Award winner, Mr. Jess Fernandes on 28th January 2010 at the hands of Mr. Tomazinho Cardozo, President of Tiatr Academy, Goa. Mr. Premanand A. Lotlikar, president of Dalgado Konkani Academy, will be the guest of honour. *Mr. Jess Fernandes is the founder member of Kepemchim Kirnnam and the Troupe has popularized the songs penned by him and set to music by Mr. Elvis Goes, the Director of Kepemchim Kirnnam, at major National and International events*. His songs include Goa, which speaks volumes about Goa and the peace loving Goans and also "Ekcharachem Git" , a tribute to Mother Konkani, which was sung for the first time at the *Konkani Nirantari*, the event which made Konkani enter the *Guinness Book of World Records*. On the said occasion a cultural programme will be presented by Mizoram State Cultural Troupe deputed by the Directorate of Art & Culture, Govt. Of Goa & Sangeet Natak Academy, New Delhi.
