EKVAT FROM LISBON TO PERFORM IN PANJIM, MARGAO, B'LORE, BOMBAY, DELHI EKVAT (a group of traditional Goan music and dances) of Casa de Goa, Lisbon, will hold performances of roughly one hour duration in Panjim (4th June), Margao (5th June), Bangalore (7th June), Bombay (9th June) and New Delhi (11th June) at the invitation of the Office of the Commissioner for NRI Affairs, Government of Goa, in association with the Indian Council of Cultural Relations (ICCR).
EKVAT [http://www.ekvat.org] celebrated twenty years of its activity in 2009/2010 creating and celebrating traditional Goan music and dances and making it known to a wider audience in Portugal and also in other countries.
