There is nothing to assume about the "rest of Cecil
Pinto's" post being funny.
It IS, without question, a very funny post (minus the
Vivian segment)!
FN:[But I'd like to register my protest about the
reference to Tariq Siddiqui. I guess even writing in
a lighter vein does not offer a carte blanche to make
bigoted insinuations about people based on accidents
of birth. In the US, something like this might be
called racism.]
In the US, I submit that you would have to prove that
the Dawood in Cecil's post is the identical one YOU
are refering to, and NOT the guy who manufactures high
quality shoes.

I absolutely and unequivocally disagree that Cecil has
made any 'religiously motivated bigoted statement' in
his FAQ post.
I agree 100% with Mr. Fernandes' statement.
This contratu you guys are having, is not about ideas,
it is something personal. I wish you guys would call
each other and put an end to this. I believe that we
can ALL work together. I sincerely do.

Please note that the real reason Ulysses quit the goanet admin team was
because of his preference for individuals of the same gender. While
there is nothing wrong with this, it was nonetheless a violation of the
above guidline. Must be something to do with people having greek names
:)

Well actually goanet and its related lists have been a big money earner
for goacom. That is why our agents have taken over these lists and
locked its founder Herman Carneiro in a deep dungeon. It should not come
as a suprise therefore, that the folks at goa-world are out to sabotage
this very profitable endeavour of ours. They are particulary upset,
because we have been able to use and improve on their shady techniques
of using non-commerical/non-profit/community service/holier-than-thou
fronts to promote their underlying commerical activities!!

You information source is totally out of date. Since 9/11, her dish
throwing skills have resulted in her being promoted to head of security
on the goanet admin team. Still, it can never match the mud slinging
skills exhibited by Gaspar Almedia.

This technology is sooo 1870's. So lets see .. a customer sends you an
email telling you what he wants. After you get the smoke signal err,
email back, you reply back telling him how much it is going to cost.
After patiently waiting for several months for the money to arrive by
ship all the way from America, you then send the flowers to the intended
recipient in Goa, except that is person has long since died and been
buried.

It is very strange that InfoLedge still shows rates for the 12 old european
currencies where these are no longer in circulation since 28 Feb 2002. (They
have all been replaced by the Euro and will no longer be accepted except if
the country that issued them accepts them back).
