Dear Mr. Editor, I read with appreciation you remark "Admittedly the Goa Suraj party has fielded clean candidates. But most of them are non-entities." in one of your Editorials and the same has been widely appreciated over the CyberFora. All those who have appreciated the said remark in your said Editorial are sure to make up their minds one way or the other specially if they have checked out the Bio-Datas of the Goa Su-Raj Candidates in the ELECTION MODE on the website www.goasu-raj.org The personalities nominated by the Goa Su-Raj Party most certainly qualify to be non-entities. To be a solid good entity and a fit candidate in the Goan Political field I suppose you have to have the following achievements: a) You must have been on the Board of Directors of at least one Co-op Bank which you have defrauded. b) You must be charge sheeted at least in one criminal case. c) You must have at least one concubine with or without the knowledge of your wife. d) You must have at least one SWISS ACCOUNT into which you deposit huge amounts carried out of the country in huge suitcases using the DIPLOMATIC BAGGAGE TAG probably? e) You must have the capacity to afford an army of Goondas who can intimidate other candidates into withdrawing from the election if unfortunately they are so dumbheaded not to except Rs. 10 Lakhs and above to make an honourable exit. Admitedly the candidates of the Goa Su-Raj Party lack in all the above virtues most necessary and required of a fit candidate thus making them (in you words) NON-ENTITIES. Surely you Mr. Good Old Rajan Narayan are getting old. Not only are your eyes getting dimmer, but your brains have gone out of focus. After all these years of taking up the cause of the good old Blue Blooded Goenkar from the Red Mud of Goa you are now looking through the eyes of a different sort of Goan. Just when after all these years we Goans have decided to change the colour of our blood from Blue to Red, you have decided to change yours to yellow. Or have you suddenly contacted some sort of Jaundice? Some Goans have changed I know, but must you Mr. Rajan Narayan too?
