A study on inter-state trafficking for sexual exploitation conducted by a city-based NGO 'Prajwala' in major red light areas of Goa, Mumbai, Delhi and Kolkata, showed that 28 per cent of sex workers in Mumbai were from AP and most of them had been trafficked with the promises of better jobs and marriage.
