Goa's phone numbers change from Nov 10, 2002. Prefix old number with a 2. New numbers
will be seven-digit 2XXXXXX (where XXXXXX is the old number).

The above item was listed under subject as 'Fred Noronha travels to
hel'. I was very excited and I immediately detected what I thought was a
spelling error. Hell is spelt hell and an 'l' was missing.
As I am planning to go there too, i.e. hell, I anxiously opened the
posting to note that this person was going to Helsinki in Finland. I have
quite a few relatives who are languishing in Hades (hell) as the Greeks
called it, I thought I would send them a Post Card or enquire about them. I
was totally deceived. I wonder if Helsinki is derived from the word hell with
a sinking feeling.
