Ariosto Coelho as Pastor of St. John's Anglican Catholic Church, Hayward, California. St. John's shares the church with the Presbyterian church - Mount Eden (some ecumenical achievement!). It is also 25 years since Ariosto was ordained a priest. Congratulations Ariosto, you have done the Goan community proud. The Church was full with well-wishers, family (including his wonderful wife Viviana of Goanet), and parishioners. Service was followed by a reception and a very sumptous meal catered by Rashida Zakir. In addition to his pastoral and counseling duties, Ariosto is involved with Spiritual Direction (www.spiritualdirection.org), Convalescent Hospital Ministry, Goa Sudharop, and other organizations. As a man of courage, conviction, and compassion, he is an inspiration to many. In life's journey, we either make the world a better place or a worse place.
