The US state derives its name from the then king of French who had settled the American west. Our friends in Lusitania started life in Morocco as Lazitanees, not sure if they were Phoenician(Afro-Egyptian), or Berber, the Indo-Europeans who carried and still use our Amharic-Brahmi script as far west as Mauretania. The Jindals are migrants from the Punjab, and i first read about them five yers ago when Bobby took Congress by storm with his plans for a Medicare overhaul, now 250 billion a year, Lyndon Johnson had set a 30 year goal of one half billion in 1965 !! Believe me, Nigel, not even Strom Thurmond asked if his grandfather was a Raasta shoemaker or whatever else ---, eric.
