I would be even more happy if our Goan brethren and sisters could put aside all our differences to get a pukka Goan namely Fr. Agnelo to Saint hood. We really need more of an effort and I have come to agree with Eddie D'Sa that we are side tracked because we are considered timid. This aside politics as well as racial conotations pervade. Goan V.I.P's do not promote Goan causes. It seem to me that most Goans in important Positions only give lip service. It is about time that we empower ourselves and try to achive, the pen is mightier than the sword. The Goan V.I.P's surely can do more, we are such a small community lacking in cohesion. Perhaps Eddie or who ever could get us the email address of his holiness and we could all start bombarding emails enquiring my our beloved Fr. Agnelo is being side tracked.
