Well despite wide spread scepticism, the congestion charge operating in
London seems to be working. This being the case it is expected that many
more Cities the World over will follow suit. The final true test will be
when the school half term ends and more traffic is put on to the roads.

The U.K. Foreign secy. has stated that it will be ever more difficult to go
to war without the backing of the country ( 70 percent are against war)
He then later stated that he believes Iraq's Saddam will not comply with the
U.N. resolutions. P.M. Tony Blair has boxed himself in a tight fix. His very
existence as P.M. may now be called into question.

At last we are begining to see some faint hope that War might not take
place, Colin Powell seemed visibly shaken after the latest Inspectors report
to the U.N. The caveat is what will Pres. Bush do. His obstinate stance will
show by or before March 3rd, or he will give way. If War does not take place
by mid March then it will become highly unlikely that it will take place.
The desert heat will have put paid to that.

Cheers Gabe Menezes
