Eugene, Would you blame a woman who`s been thru` what she has .............. and every south -east journalist and his cohorts looking for a new angle on the story to make her go through the entire farce again ? Most of us have been at some time or the other insulted or harrassed by the U S INS.... ....but that`s the price we pay for living here , or unwittingly crossing their borders in transit.......and very few of us will be able to do anything about the ignorant whites or blacks they employ as immigration agents. Already one of their spokeswomen is laying the groundwork to deny the entire situation ever ocurred.....notice that she said " they always give foreigners access to their consulates "............or something to that effect. About 40 years ago the US press wrote stories about the " police state " mindset in the USSR..............while they may not like to admit it publicly....the USA in their paranoia of holding close to a thousand of their own citizens in detention..........without bringing them before the courts are not far from the old Soviet ways of doing thing s?
