SEVEN-A-SIDE SOCCER TOURNEY.
Curtorcares United is one of the well known Goan organizations in Kuwait which was formed in 1995. Besides other activities, Curtorcares United are involved in soccer which is the forte not only of Curtorcares but also of all Goans. One of the highly decorated soccer players of Goa Antonio Rebello is the proud son of Curtorim and an important member of Curtoracres United. Considered to be one of the best defenders of India during those days, Antonio Rebello is the main force behind their current soccer team. On 25th of this month, Tuesday, Curtorcares United will organize their annual 7-a-side soccer tournament under the auspices of Kuwait Indian Foot-ball Federation, at Sour Grounds, starting at 7.30 in the morning and the final will be played at 11.00 A.M. All the 16 teams affiliated to KIFF will participate in this tournament which is going to be sponsored by NGEECO � Siemens and co-sponsored by Atlas Commercial, New Indian Assurance, Luis Cardoso and well wishers. The Referees for this tournament will be from KIFF Refereeing body. Taking this opportunity, the organizers will conduct the draw of their Raffle after the final.
Mr. Salvador Dias one of the well known Goans in Kuwait is the current president of Curtorcares United. Mr. Salvador is a social worker in Kuwait and does lot of good work many times silently for the good of community members. In fact Goans like him are rare in Kuwait currently. Very open hearted person within his capacity he would go to any extent to help others. The other members of Curtorcares United are Mariano Da Silva � Vice President; Agnelo Rebello � Gen.
