While the behavior of many Indian's was just simple innocent joy, the arrogant attitude (topped off with a dash of hate) displayed by many Indians only serves to forment hatred and support the extremist policies of groups like the Sh*t Sena, RSS etc. We all know that the Nazis and the communists used sports to promote their own agendas. I am hoping India does not win the cricket world cup. People from all walks of life have joined the celebrations. For about eight hours or so, urban life in India came to a standstill on Saturday when the match was on. In New Delhi and other cities, it was like Diwali with the bursting of firecrackers when the team won. The celebration continued well into Sunday. _______________________________________________ Goanet mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.goanet.org/mailman/listinfo/goanet
