------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Vermicomposting/EM Workshop at Benaulim on Sunday. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ What is Vermicomposting?
It's a natural process of turning your organic waste into dark, nutrient rich, earth-smelling fertilizer with the help of earthworms or EM (Effective Micro-organisms) This process can convert garbage to fertilizer in as little as 2-3 months.
Benaulim Environment Trust & The Goa Foundation will be co-hosting a workshop on Vermicomposting/EM. This half-day programme will cover introduction to vermicomposting and EM, setting up your own compost pit, Question & Answers, etc. Practical sessions will also be held and for those interested in starting right away, starter kits with Earthworms/EM will also be available for sale at nominal rates.
The Workshop is free for all participants. Those interested in participating should call up the registration numbers below to confirm your attendance.
