Fellow Goans all over the World; In the last few days we have seen a remarkable display of solidarity shown by United States Congressman Crowley and his assocaites on Capitol Hill. His letter to Homeland Security Secretary Tom Ridge will open new doors for dialogue and understanding bwteen races in the United States of America. Senator Edward Kennedy in Boston will also be receiving a signed petition on this issue. It would be a great honor to our community if each of you that reads this message contact Gregg Sheiowitz in Washington DC at [EMAIL PROTECTED] sending him your support towards Berna Cruz. I urge every fellow Goan to take this message to your local government and to every other goan in solidarity. We need to be heard and we will be heard no matter what. Please sign in your petition to a representativ in the United States Congress. Your signature will go a long way. The United States of America is a working DEMOCRACY of a United People's voice from every diverse group. Berna Cruz can be anyone of us. This has to be stopped and we will let the United States Congress know that incidents such as this has hapened in the past while absolutely nothing was done. This issue has now opened a can of worms. This issue has resurrected old wounds, closet-skeletons will be a part of this entire healing process. Until we get to the bottom of this issue I will not feel resolved as an Asian American Citizen. Fellow Goans, I am also an Active Member of the Asian American Republican Party of Massachusetts, this issue is being taken to the republican party at all levels.
