The discussion on this subject (not surprisingly heated after all we are Goans!) was very interesting (occasionally childish). This is proven by this concluding comment and facts provided below. To begin with the authors should be complimented on providing the facts and for a change making this a factual dialogue rather than an opinionated one. The data below is helpful and starts and ends with "I hope this is the end of the matter" or "settles the issue once and for all". I would suggest that the authors failed to provide the GDP of Goa and this dialogue should be "the start of the matter." All the participants should now start dialoging how to improve the GDP of Goans in Goa. This ought to be a discussion based on "what can" and not on what it would / should have been or "crying over spilt milk". Each of those who participated should individually and Goans collectively extend themselves how to further improve Goa's GDP. Would not this be a more interesting discussion? Regards GL >From Gabe and Lil: I hope this is the end of the matter. G.D.P. per capita countries in mentioned in contention. India 2,443 Macau 17,235 Norway 27,557 Switzerland 28,421 U.S. 35,831 U.K 22,801 Portugal 15,795. Of the above countries which countries are in the G7 considered the richest countries in the world? Also Macau is richer than Portugal, what does that mean? Hope this settles the issue once and for all. _______________________________________________ Goanet mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.goanet.org/mailman/listinfo/goanet
