III DAY OF WAR AGAINST IRAQ.
Today 22nd March 2003 is the third day of the war against Iraqi regime. What exactly happening on the battlefield is clearly shown in the TV and as such I need not go into details of what has happened today. However, I must state here that in Kuwait we are all fine, no untoward incident is noticed anywhere. We Goan community faced no problem, all over Kuwait is calm. People went to work as usual, expatriate and locals seen moving all around as usual, there is no war fewer nor war tension today. Streets are full of people and cars and other vehicles. No news of any Scudd missile fired from Iraqi side. Not only Goan community but generally speaking the entire Indian community is calm though other Asian and Arab community members seem little restless. Yesterday in Kuwait City one could easily observe a big �Q� in front of Egypt Airlines for purchasing tickets to return back to Egypt. Such �Q� is not seen by Indians. This shows generally speaking our people are calm and composed.
About 250 metres away from Roman Catholic Church in Kuwait City there is a huge campus where all the non-Catholic Christian denominations are located numbering over 50. Today Saturday with the exception of one or two, all are closed and religious services are halted there by the respective religious heads since according to one source people are reluctant to come for the regular services due to tense warry situation. The sound of Sirens also creates some panic among the people. Today in the evening Sirens sounded creating little scary situation.
According to latest reports coming from Indian media one of the leading politicians of India Ms Mayawati warned President Bush of dire consequences for his initiative on the ongoing war against Iraq. I feel like laughing at this stupid Indian politician who knows nothing of world political affairs. Mayawati and all other �watis� not only from India but also from all around the Word, I can rightly say that �who cares for your threats?� You think Bush cares for you and many like you? You people have no way to silence Saddam�s brutality, you all are only barking. Some of the people who raise their voices against Bush & Blair are those who will miss the doles of Saddam Hussain if Saddam is ousted from the presidency in Iraq. It is these people who are carrying forward the instruction of Saddam in doing terrorist acts all around the world. These days one can see lot of demonstrations in many parts of the world. These demonstrators show their pity for Iraqi children and civilians. I too feel pity for these innocent children. But I must also remind them that when Iraqi Army invaded Kuwait on 2nd August 1990 they entered the hospitals and switched off the incubators where angelic sickly children were lying. Who killed these innocent children and why? Saddam Hussain�s information minister today is shedding crocodile tears but when Iraqi troops invaded Kuwait that time and till they were booted out of Kuwait they did all type of atrocities not only against the locals but also against the expatriates that include poor Indians too. Mayawati the rotten politician of India who has brought disgrace on Indian politics should know this.
If there should be peace and order in this part of the world then Saddam and his gang must go and they will not go voluntarily unless they are forced to go. They came to power with terror and they are now being thrown out with terror only. They are not giving peace to this area. They are menace to the world. If USA and UK do not come forward to finish them then no body will gather courage to finish them and as such they will finish peaceful people of the world. France, Russia, China and tin pot nations like India, Pakistan etc opposing this war will not do anything except issuing unwanted statements. When time comes these nations will go to USA with begging bowl in their hands. With all their defects and minus points only USA and UK will work for the betterment of this world and they only will fight to provide justice for the weak and as such they deserve our support. What others cannot do US & UK are doing and persons like Mayawati are only barking from UP in India. India has no voice in the world affairs. There is no gigantic leader in India at the moment who wields influence in the world affairs. Gone are the days of Nehrus � Ghandis & Indiras whose voices were heard with rapt attention. Advanis, Vajpayees, Mayawatis and Georgees are fraud in the eyes of the world and how their voices will wield influence in the world affairs? India must start now only producing leaders of world stature and then only India�s voice will be heard and respected in the world affairs. Otherwise go to hell with tin pot leaders of India that includes Mayawati.
According to today�s calm situation cricket crazy people mainly the Indians are expecting nothing untoward tomorrow and they expect to watch the Cricket World Cup Final between India and Australia with peaceful mind. Let us wait and see because tomorrows happening will tomorrow only tell.
