The American leadership speaking of "illegalities" is nothing short of a joke, coming from them. Mr. Rumsfeld has been quoted as saying "It's illegal to do things to POWs that are humiliating to those prisoners" Will someone please ask Mr. Rumsfeld how legal is their invasion of a sovereign nation without the sanction of the United Nations? How uplifting is it to impose suffering and death on innocent men, women and children who live an already hand to mouth existence without the ravages of war to add to their burden? . George Bush Jr. speaks from his mighty throne "All who ill treat POWs will be tried as War Criminals" And who, Mr. Bush, will try the greatest War Criminals in the world who create havoc in the lives of countries stripped of their defences just to get at their considerable assets? It's not Iraq who has to be bombed to rid the world of its leader and its weapons of mass destruction; The world knows better who fits the bill.
