Great humour. But what was funnier was that I've seen different versions of this doing the rounds. In the earlier version, it was Pedro talking the Saddam. Strange how both Saddam and Bush (in both versions) have exactly the same number of military men. Is it just a eerie coincidence in this more-difficult-than-expected attack on Iraq? Or, plagarism in a hurry? Any idea who wrote the original? It was quite funny... even though the different versions doing the rounds give hint that Goan humour is not so vibrant and alive. I remember the Windows 95-in-Konkani joke some time back. It was well written but, again, difficult to trace the original author. Imagine my horror when a newspaper in Goa reproduced it, almost suggesting that I had myself written it (when in fact, I'm not capable of that, and had made no claim to that effect, other than merely re-circulating it via the Net).
