Hi there Guys & Gals There is obviously a hidden agenda re: War in Iraq at the moment. However, somebody has to take on someone like Saddam Hussain I suppose given he is a tyrant and torturer of his own people. This is probably only an excuse because there appears to be a contradiction in what the U.S. was asking namely, "Disarm or we will disarm you" - Does this mean if Saddam had actually disarmed that U.S. and the allies would not attack Iraq? In other words, if Saddam had disarmed then he could continue being the President of Iraq and continue with his dictatorship. Isn't this a contradiction??? As regards Kuwait, the Americans always wanted a base there and since Iraq invaded Kuwait in 1990 this was the best opportunity for the Americans to have their base forever. The fact is that the Kuwaities paid about US$ 150 Bio for their liberation - the Americans and the allies did not do it for nothing. U.S. and their allies will likewise charge the Iraqi people for the cost of this war eventually. Moral of the story is 'WIIFM' the famous acronym "Whats in it for me?'
