Hi Wendel and Sunila, May I join the band wagon on preserving our heritage buildings. I feel really sad when one of our good old structures like Clube Vasco, for example, are torn down to build concrete monstrosities. How right Wendell is when he asks "Where are the businesses that the Government claims want to come to Goa to fill these empty building projects"? I think it is about time everyone realized that Goa is not going to get any corporate business but rather the VIP's looking for a little R&R in a little piece of the Mediterenean right here in India. If we remove the very thing that lures these as well as external tourists to our land then what are we left with? It's no use blaming successive governments for their indiscriminating practices. I think someone should put a little sense into the heads of the Town Planning department as they are the guys who live in Panjim and who can really make a difference.
