WORLD GOA DAY 2003
The Goans Association Calgary , under the leadership of their President
Wilson Soares and in association with Goans of Edmonton have drawn up
this years WGD celebrations. They hope that Goans from Vancouver will join
them too.
We are sure that Goans and Goan Organizations world wide will follow
the example set by the Goans of Canada , Portugal, United Kingdom ,
Pakistan ,
and Goans in GOA and join them in theseelebrations.
I am proud to say that we are at last achieving a world Goan comm_UNITY ,
even though it may be just during the Goaday celebrations. We need to keep
helping move Goans up !

SAT.30th Aug.
Fete with Games and Special Goan Food
Stalls.
Plans Open at 10.00 a.m. Soccer game at 3 pm.
against Edmonton both boys and six a side girls
followed by Badminton at 7 p.m.
SUN.31st Aug.
Special Konkani Mass at 4 p.m. followed
by Whist Drive,Bingo and Dancing.
Special Goan Menu dinner will be available.
Mon.1st Sep.
Picnic and Sports for Children and
Adults in the Park.
