How to educate the
masses who have been misguided by some uneducated people or vested interests?

This is a problem for governments all over the world.
In the US, for example, it does not make sense to keep burning coal in the huge amounts it takes to generate the electricity needed to satisfy the needs of the population. The pollution created by this is horrendous.
But the coal lobby is extremely powerful and will not allow the construction of alternative sources of energy e.g. nuclear.
Another example is the NRA - "gun lobby". That is why Americans go beserk every so often killing wantonly. Have you seen the movie "Bowling for Columbine"?
So there you go. Enough examples.
The government (not the masses) has to have the courage to act and do what is right for the greater good i.e. pass laws - and enforce them - for the benefit of the average citizen.
