Folks, If any of you are visiting Toronto, contact me. I will give you the 'not for tourists tour.' :-) A few other pointers: 1) If you are driving around in T.O. and see a police car with its siren going, SMILE. The police car will have NYPD on it and it's a Hollywood studio filming a movie. 2) If you see a person begging in the streets, SMILE. Again, its an American actor. 3) Also, if you miss the hustle and traffic jams of your home town, cross the borders on: a) Thursday, when the US social security recipients b) Friday when the working dead c) Saturday, when the truly rich or d) Sunday, when the thieves, misfits and riff-raff line up at the border on their journey to deposit their money at Casino Niagara. We love them all. Casino Niagara nets the Ontario govt. $1.5 million everyday. Sort of helps to pay for our health benefits. Mervyn PS. I picked up this one today :-) Two Noo Yawk fishermen travel 100 miles into Canada to try out a new fishing spot. They buy a variety of bait and lures and rent a boat. After a long day of fishing, the two fishermen return to the dock. The first fisherman pulls their only catch from the live well, a scrawny bass just legal size. He says, "Boy! This fish cost us about $75."
