TAC members are not listed. Have they been abolished? I could not find the type of exchange I have as was nicely listed in the old directory.
The directory is corrected upto March 31, 2002. I could only obtain it after March 31, 2003 while many users have not been able to get a copy even to date. A lot of numbers have since been changed.
In many places in the new directory, I see a notice, 'To err is human'. I also see an indemnity clause. When we err, there is no indemnity and we are mercilessly fined or made to run from pillar to post to pay our late or non-received bills in time, or to correct errors the department makes.
The long overdue telephone directory tells the sorry tale of wastage of public funds not to mention the inconvenience caused to the consumers.
Where is accountability and compensation for the consumer?
