PORTUGUESE FROM GOA
Let's remember and our homage pay,
To the greatest poet of them all;
Let's in our hearts honour Camoes' Day,
And hearken to the patriotic call:
That though Goa is our Motherland,
Portugal remains our Fatherland.
This clarion goes to all young and old,
Wanting to know their identity,
Those folks who Portuguese passports hold,
Fall int' Portuguese community.
But don't lose love of Mother India,
Just cpon: "I'm Portuguese from Goa".
And should now Camoes hear this call,
He'd say: "I'm Goan from Portugall".
