"The UNDL Foundation (a United Nations Organisation), Geneva, with the help of Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Mumbai is developing a software programme which will provide a machine translation from Konkani." The item was based on a report in the Herald and quoted the url. Unfortunately, the link is no longer active. Could this be yet another instance of sweet talk by the authorities? Actually, I am quite certain that there was a report a few years ago that a body called perhaps, the Konkan Basha Mandal, is working on a MT Konkani Corpus.
