I have read an interesting article by Senhor Dom Martin on Father Chico from Candolim. Father Chico was a great lover of sports and I often met him on Campal grounds during the Goa Athletic competitions.
On the other hand I feel very strange as to why our elders have not spoken about the tragedy of Fr. Chico. I guess we have democracy installed in Goa and not dictatorship or is it dictatorship or are our elders scared to the core? The news of Telo Mascarenhas for Fr. Chico is news. I also remember Telo the author of Ressurge Goa or Rise Goa. A meek attempt by this freedom fighter to get Goa out of the abyss. Thanks to Dom Martin for the article.
