Dr. Lawrence:

Thank you for your generous comments; they are very much appreciated. It was my
pleasure to be part of the Goan Colloquium 2003, and I hope that many more people in
the future will take part.

Having been born and raised in America, I haven't had the same opportunities to learn
about our culture as others. Quite frankly, my only exposure to our culture has been
my mothers cooking and my beloved cashew fenny.

That is why I'm happy that I attended the Colloquium. I learned so much through
yours, James Almeidas, Ralph Dsouzas, Victor Rangel-Ribeiros, and Dr. Santosh Helekars
presentations which was read by Father Basilio. I especially enjoyed the lively
discussions which were at times spirited, but always respectful and tactful. Its nice
to be in a forum where people can agree to disagree. For me, the time flew.

I'm looking forward to meeting you again at Goan Colloquium 2004. If you know of
anyone who would like to attend, have them reach me and I'll add them to the contact
list I am keeping.

Allan
