Effective 1st. July all subscribers to Goatelecom have had their
accounts tranferred to Sancharnet and those of us registered as
members of the Goanet Mailing List with Goatelecom addresses have yet
to hear from the Adminsitration Team as to what happens to our
membership. Will our addresses be automatically changed or will we
have to unscriber our old addresses and re-subscribe with the
Sancharnet address? A clarification would be welcome.

Tony has a legitimate question re GoaNets (Goa) members. Id believe the old e-addresses of members subscribed with their [EMAIL PROTECTED] will have to be changed to [EMAIL PROTECTED]

One (and perhaps easier) way would be for GoaNet to do a blanket (mass) change of members e-addresses (@suffix only) from [EMAIL PROTECTED] to [EMAIL PROTECTED] This will obviously negate the hassle of each subscriber to un/re-subscribe. This is, of course, if the Admin Team is willing to spare the time and effort to invest.

However, if subscribers have a completely new e-address (changed recently with GoaTel/Sancharnet and not registered with GoaNet), they will have to re-subscribe with the new e-address.

Perhaps, a word from the horses mouth (A-Team) would be welcome, as Tony has said.
