the recent statement of the RSS against the Pope and Christian missionary
activity, set my alarm bells ringing, against this organisation which
is blatantly attempting to divide communities in our great country.

The RSS has also condemned the Popes call for evangelisation. Now
this is a basic tenet of the Christian faith and permissable in all
liberal democracies, including ours, being enshrined in our
constitution, as it is a basic human right.

It is the duty of every Christian to spread the Good News of the Gospel. The Bible clearly states this in Matthew---28:18-20
---------------------------------------
Jesus said to his disciples: 'All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go, therefore, make disciples of all nations; baptise them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teach them to observe all the commands I gave you. And look, I am with you always; yes, to the end of time'.
---------------------------------------

Next the RSS & extremist groups will be telling Christians to change the Bible scriptures.

You are right Gilbert. The statement made by the RSS that the pope's statement is a "direct challenge to the sovereignity of the country" is in fact other way around.
