Surprisingly no mention has been made on the many varieties used in Goa :(
Can some Goans in Goa elaborate on some other varieties used in Goa?
A special boiled variety is used for Pez, once the staple diet!
I can think of at least three, besides the famous Patna rice.
And there's also the imitation Orzo. Needs much research.
