Nasci has given one interpretation of the signifince of the colours of
the Indian Triolour viz. saffron=spirituality, white=peace and
green=agriulture. Another interpretation holds that saffron stands for the
majority Hindu community, green for the largest minority Muslim communuty
and the central white for all the other minority communities inluding the
Christian that go to constitute the Indian nation.
