Goan Pundits in cyberspace The Goan Pundits on the Goanet chat channels were very much on my mind this weekend. I was doing some long-distance driving and was seeing auto gas / petrol prices at the pump rise to US $1.80 to 2.25/gallon. This is the highest I have seen for years in my region. I would think the rest of the world is experiencing similar problems.
Now six months ago, nearly all the Goan Pundits in cyberspace were waxing very eloquently and telling us the whole Iraq war was only because of oil. And GB (George Bush) was waging this war to bring the price of oil down to help the American and western economies. The post-war prices of oil have been much higher than before the war and the economies are stagnant. So what happened??? Now I only hope GB know why he waged the war better than the Goan Pundits.
