Please open the following link that belongs to the Portuguese premier institution for defence of consumers' rights: http://www.deco.proteste.pt/index.htm This will make you realize that without at least some working knowledge of Portuguese you will have some difficulties in getting the most out of your two days in Portugal. Lisbon has a large Gujarati community, at least 11.000 strong, that moved in from Mozambique after its independence. This community is Portuguese speaking but there are some older and younger generation people who manage with English fairly well. There is a well established Hindu Association. The leading person in the community is an industrialist Kantilal Jamnadas whose contact on the telephone list is 219563658. I am not aware of any Hotel meant for Indians or Hindus, but there is no dearth of Indian restaurants of all standards. There is definitely a good Hindu temple.
