Apparently Manohar is testing the waters after having baited some senior journalists with pensions,some young journos with scholarships/tours,GUJ with office premises,publishers with advertisements and some editors with tidbits for their pet causes. The crow that opens its mouth wide loses the piece of cheese,fish or whatever! What is good for the crow is good for the press,it seems. Keep your mouth shut and enjoy the morsel. This principle has been largely successful with the politicians: speakership,KA,Planning Commission,GSIDC,loans,banks,sexy secrets,land conversion dealings, and other cheese bits have worked wonders so far. Everything is paid for by us poor taxpayers, whether it is road tax or excise and sales tax on the peg of feni.
