A day long mega event, with lots of thrills and excitement. The entertainer's for the day are, the ever popular band from Goa "Purple Rain" - courtesy Air India; and yet another authentic Goan Cultural Troupe sponsored by Government of Goa comprising of 11 artistes coming all the way from Goa for the very first time to perform for Goa Day. The very renowned Goan Folklore singer, dancer and percussionist, Messias Francisco Tavares & his accompanying dancers will delight you with a rendition of nostalgic pristine Goan Music, Songs & Dances. The Goan Cultural Troupe's performances will include: Dekhni, Kunbi dance, Cantaram, Mando, Fugdi, March de Fontainhas,Corridinho, etc. That's not all! Apart from all this, the usual Food stalls, Games stalls, Konkani stage show by local talents, Group dances, Fancy dress Competition for children, Konkani singing competition for children, GWS Educational Awards & Prizes Distribution, Raffle, Music of all kinds by DJ's-R-US for the purpose of special dedications on request inside the Games Stalls.
