TidBits.027 ( CM=Manohar Parrikar & vice versa) Reading the news reports and watching the same live on TV news makes a whole lot of a difference. Thanks to the cable news (UNI Vision) in Konkni (which is a lot different from Konkani) we get to see our CM cracking the assembly's sound sistim with his cracking voice. Last night we saw the CM defending his 'Legal Notice' to the top four newspapers. He said it unpteen times that the notices were from his personal side and not as the CM. It makes me wonder how a person can be a private person at one time and a public person at another time when dealing with the Public Company such as EDC. For us simple and non IIT guys, simple maths solves simple problems. And when it comes to equations such as- one equals one. Interposing we still get one equals one. Likewise, CM = Manohar Parrikar is the same as Manohar Parrikar = CM.
In his Legal Notice, Mahonar Parrikar has clearly said that the papers should desist from publishing anything defamatory that Luizinho Faleiro says against him. I don't remember seeing or reading anything personal and deragatory that Luizinho has said against Parrikar like 'CHOR', 'DADA 'RSS GOON' or some such things. All he has said is that the CM =Manohar Parrikar has unduly favoured his darling brother-in-law to land some 77 lacs of Rupees at the cost of the tax-payers. With that amount of loot one has to be a darling. Again simple equation here makes good sense. Prakash Shankwalkar + Manohar Parrikar = Brother-in-laws = Relations. Shankwalkar's recent Legal Notice to the Press says that not his brother-in-law =Manohar Parrikar = CM but EDC waived off his huge liability. Fine, but then we have known all along that nothing moves in the Parrikar Government without the say so of the CM=Manohar Parrikar. It has been Manohar Parrikar = CM this that and everything all along giving the impression that his cabinet members and mutes. And we have seen all along that the Parrikar Government is a 'ONE MAN' show. Besides, we all know that another simple equation which is - BUCKET OF CLEAN WATER + DETERGENT + DIRTY LINEN = A LOT OF DIRTY WATER. Sankwalkar must go back in time and put himself in a cafetaria, having a cup of coffee or tea with an acquaintance. And he must try to remember what axactly he had said to his acquaintance about another simple equation i.e His business's health (Sim Chem Pvt. Ltd) + CM (+=) brother-in-law = ????. Shankwalkar must realise that there are a lot of unnoticed ears that spring to life as soon as the word CM is spoken in public places like cafetarias. You never know who those extra sensitive ears belong to. In these cases, a simple equation such as 2 + 2 does not always equals to 4. In certain special cases it may even add up to 22. Catch? Luizinho Faleiro is the elected representative of the people, just like the CM=Manohar Parrikar is. And Luizinho Faleiro or any other elected representative is duty bound to tell the public how he himself has swindled the Public Company which belongs to the State which in turn belongs to the people, or who else is swindling it, if not them. And the newspapers and the audio visual media are duty bound to tell the people what our elected representatives have to say about their Public Company. By what we read in the newspapers, Manohar Parrikar (not equal to CM) must know that relations cannot be kept away through publications of warnings in the newspapers from approaching Manohar Parriker = CM. Relations are relation and they will always remain relations through thick and thin. Trouble starts when one ladla relation is prefered over another relation for the wrong reasons. And our CM = Manohar Parrikar must realise that 'CHARITY STARTS AT HOME' first. But for him I would like to rephrase the above quote differently that "NATURAL JUSTICE STARTS AT HOME" first. And I would like to end with a little piece of advice to our flamboyant darling of Venkaia Naidu, the National BJP President that relations are relations because they have genuine common blood flowing in their veins, unlike political or ideological friends and darlings who always but always have a trace of 'cyanide' in their blood stream which could be fatal in times of NEED. Hopefully, I shall escape these dreaded notices.
