Hi Goans Everywhere, In Delhi just in front of the venue of the film festival a young Swiss lady was raped, abducted and robbed
On a beach near Benaulim a young medical studen was raped Some months back a young student of Goa art college was raped Apparenly young girls even little ones are being raped inGoa -- not only in the rest oif India What is happening to our Goan males in Goa -- are all these crimes by outsiders? If so what about our men folk -- can wenot ensure the safety ofour women? Some years back when hippies used to parade along the beach at Calangute and thepolice could not do anything to our "guests" -- the fisherfolk took into their hands to walk along the beach and thrash those who parading nude on the beach -- this stopped the rot Some drastic action is called for -- castrate the offenders !!! Hope we Goans are able to make our country safe for ourown women folk And as regards international film festivals -- maybe it would be a good idea to forget about them and save our environment (Sinquirem and Aguada remain beautiful wooded areas)) -- we stopped the Tatas destroying the Betim hillside -- why not the film festival promoters???
