The Internet has huge potential to deliver benefits for charities and companies and this session will explore the barriers and the possibilities to building partnership online Stuart Lunn from Infoworks on; Content Management Systems (CMS): How they work, what they cost and the benefits they can deliver People talk about CMS a lot, but this seminar will explore some of the more practical issues, including the costs, the pitfalls and integration with your other IT systems we will look at a range of approaches and different systems in use in the voluntary sector. Peter Armstrong and Amanda Squires from OneWorld: Empowering NGOs around the world to use the Internet OneWorld has worked with over 1500 NGOs in industrialised and developing countries to make the most of the Internet. Their experience has many lessons for community groups and charities in the UK using the Internet. All the seminars will start around 1pm with a sandwich lunch and finish between 4-5pm. The Forum is an opportunity both to network as well as listen to the individual speakers. Please feel free to send this email onto others. If you want to come please email [EMAIL PROTECTED] so we can get a rough idea of numbers for catering. Lunch will be served from 1pm and the talks will start shortly after. The seminars are all at Horwath Clark Whitehill at 25 New St Square off New Fetter Lane. The nearest tubes are Chancery Lane, Blackfriars, Farringdon or City Thameslink. Please make every effort to appear if you saying you're coming. We are always on the look-out for people or organisations who would like to speak about the work they are doing in the IT or Internet arena.
