Dear Non resident Goans, On 27 October, 2003 the undersigned had emailed some commonly sung traditional Goan folk songs which presumably were of interest to the Goan diaspora as collated and compiled by a music lover Mr. Anthony Agnel Fernandes, Proprietor, of Our Lady of Assumption General Provisions Stores Railway level crossing Velcao, Mormugao Goa.
The painstaking compilation and computing could not be put into a concise pocket booklet form paper back cover as the costs were far to high approximately in the region of Rs.5000/- for bulk printing at a reasonable affordable sale price of Rs.25/-per booklet. However as a service to the Goan community he has now requested me to make it available to any one who deires the same. In the event there are some misappropriate words the same may be corrected. The inadvertent mistakes may be condoned. The few selected email groups that I have posted the 35 K size compilation have been greatly overjoyed with this compilation. Hence I would be willing to send this to any one desirous of receiving the same. Send in your request to [EMAIL PROTECTED] It would also be advisable to circulate it to as many Goans. If any one could undertake to print the same it could be a great favour to Mr Fernandes.
