Your mail reminds me of another incident !!
Hindus normally don't eat anything made with vinergar. Their preference is
for lime/lemon.
But these days they too are savouring the 'christao' dish. The fashion is to
ask for
'Richard masala' at any outlet.
Further, have you heard of 'Siole' masala?
The fisher-folks ask for it, when they need 'Chole masala'.

Few months ago, I ordered 'reshad Bangdde' (stuffed Mackerels)
But I got deep fried 'reshad bangdde' Visibly, didn't appear reshad bangdde
at all i.e. the original colour/flavour was missing and the taste? like any
other non-goans hotel's deep fried bangdde.

When reported this at the payment counter, I neither got refund nor discount
(not even apology).

 Restaurant is one of the listed in above posting, viz. Longuinhos, Margao.
