�NEW POSTULATOR FOR THE CAUSE OR VEN FR AGNELO: Fr Antonio Marazzo from Rome and belonging to the Redemptorist Congregation was appointed the new Postulator to promote the cause of the Beatification of Fr. Agnelo D'Souza. Fr. Antonio is the fourth Postulator to be appointed to promote the cause of Beatification of Fr. Agnelo, a saintly priest belonging to the Society of Pilar, who died on 20 November 1928. In 1953, D. Jose Viera Alvernaz, the Auxiliary Bishop of the Archdiocese of Goa, initiated the process of his Beatification. On November 1986, Pope John Paul II declared him Venerable in Rome. (GT)�
