There are definitely connections between India, the Middle East and the West. The Greek connection to both India and to Christianity are strong. Alexander the Great took back Indian philosophers and saddhus to Greece. Emperor Ashoka was related to him through an aunt, I believe. Ashoka sent Buddhist missionaries to Palestine and further west 200 years before Christ. Filomena
