Sachin has raised some good questions about George leaving the BJP. But he
misses the point when he makes an odious reference to Sonia Gandhi.

Being on the Pontifical Commission of the Laity, George was obliged to seek the
consent of the Pope about his political involvement with a party that is
infamous for brewing communal hatred and unprecedented violence in the country.

I must pity Sachin Phadte's ignorance if he thinks that Sonia should take the
consent of the Pope just because of her Sicilian connection.

Well Sachin, while trying to question George's credibility you have ended up
exposing your naked bias and pro-BJP leanings.

In favour of George I would say he took a bit longer than necessary (for a
thinking mind like his) to realise something. But didn't we hear it said
innumerable times: better late than never.
