Aires alerts us to the sorry state of Government finances in Goa with the Goa Government owing 4 crore rupees to the KLES hospital in Belgaum, and being cut off from further extension of credit, hence no medical treatment for Goans in Belgaum. What a disgrace !
Does the Goa Government acknowledge its debt ? What plans are afoot to pay this debt before embarking on other grandiose schemes ? Do we Goans care or are we so intoxicated with Feni, with our stomachs filled with Xitt-codi that we remain totally oblivious to the goings on and remain susegad ? So we will run out of credit at the hospitals in Mumbai and Bangalore next. Then what ?
