It is simply amazing that Mr.Gonsalves should spit such venom at Hindu Saraswat Brahmins
and get away with it. This is not the first time that Mr. Gonsalves has openly expressed
his hatred for Saraswats on this forum. I don't think the Catholic religion teaches hatred
of other religions.
Wonder what the Saraswats did to Mr. Gonsalves to blame all that ails the Konkani language,
on just one sect of Goa! Even the subject is misleading. Perhaps he does not get a fair
hearing elsewhere; so he tries to use a misleading subject to draw people in. The last time
he wrote such an infllammatory article too, he had no substance, but all concoted stats
and facts.
For a fact, Konkani, as well as most other Indian languages, are based on the Sanskrit
language. The Portuguese are the ones who decided to "Romanize" it!
Get a life Mr. Gonsalves, instead of trying to spread hatred by misleading facts and figures
about a topic you are completely ignorant of. It is a disgrace that you use Goanet to
blow your trumpet. Try standing in the middle of the Garden (Jardin) at Margao and say all what
you said here.
