Tony, Since the debate is open, I have to say that cosmetic changes are extermely dangerous when they are used as general anaesthetic while a complete body make over is being effected. When the anaesthesia finally wears off the patient wakes up to the horrifying reality of the terrible and irrevocable changes that have taken place while he was mesmerised with sweet dreams and rosy visions. We are dealing with people who are creating wedges between Goans adn painting them with various hues. I agree that the previous dispensation who professed to be acting from the best and most altruistic motives messed up big time with their selfishness and corruption. That does not permit us to blind ourselves to the deeper dangers lurking behind the present one.
