Attention: Mr. Pascoal de Mello

Dear Sir,

This sounds good to hear but would it really work? I've lost 1 ancestral home
and a piece of land in Panjim (Boca de Vaca+St. Inez). I'd love to be back there
if I were not a nuisance to others. Please continue for at least my sons may
find justice someday.

Thanks and wish you luck.

Joao Socorro.

SCRAP TENANCY ACT: REPATRIATES' UNION: The All Goa Repatriates' Union has
demanded the scrapping of the land-to-the-tiller Act and the Tenancy Act as they
are 'obnoxious'. Pascoal de Mello, ex-president of the organisation set up for
the protection of Goan repatriates' rights, states thatcertain sections of the
previous Tenancy Act, which gave the owners the right to redeem agricultural
lands, have been deleted there by denying the land owners an opportunity to
redeem the cultivation of agricultural activities.

Happy holidays to Goanetters headed HOME !!
