Response:

Yes! Absolutely let's correct this gross mis-information. Please post
your opinion and displeasure directly to THE APPROPRIATE AUTHORITIES and
not on this discussion site (a la) as in the pictures promoting tourism
in Goa. Goans are known to take their displeasure out on each other.
:=)) Should I translate this into Konkani? :=))). The difference between
Goans and Mesticios is well known. This difference does not mean that
one is superior and the other is inferior. It does mean we all have our
heritage and are proud of it.

The website administrator at [EMAIL PROTECTED] may not
understand your message in Inglish or Angresi. So you can use Amchi
Bhass ani tea bhair a few ... you know what....
watcha-ya-may-call-it...? :=)) Regards, GL, NY

Subject: Comment and let's correct this info on "Luso-Indian ", GOANS or
"Mesticos"

You may like to know that I did write to the website administrator
sometime ago [couple of months] to correct the info. My guess is that
they have not been very keen to rectify the error or are misinformed. It
is unfortunate that the Goan Community in the UK are in their slumber
and many may not even know what is right or wrong!

I am copying to some goanet contributors to join in this debated and
have this corrected.
